Conference Building & Adjoining Lawn
 

For weddings and other ceremonies, the family building and lawn may be rented. The family building includes a beautiful fireplace, lounge chairs, serving table and powder room for ceremony participants to prepare. The lawn accommodates up to 72 seated people who may adjourn to the gathering patio for the reception following the ceremony.

Gathering Patio at the Other End of the Compound (approx. 24' x 60')

The large gathering patio, conference building and lawn are all available for special events to guests who rent the entire compound, or who rent Gray's Retreat in conjunction with the Barn Loft. Up to 60 people can be comfortably accommodated on the patio with seating and dining tables. An outdoor kitchen and barn room provide counter preparation space, two gas grills, plating table, storage, and a full refrigerator/freezer. There is a double sink counter as well.

Local caterers and florists are expert at event planning, rentals and service. The patio is also perfect for casual gatherings of friends and family who choose to cook for each other. A fire pit allows for gathering around an open

CONFERENCE BUILDING

Host Your Conference at the Old Point Reyes Schoolhouse
The Schoolhouse Conference Building may be rented independently for day use. Rates vary according to the number of people and the use. A large fireplace, luxurious wool rugs, easy chairs and couch make this a relaxing venue for groups doing workshops, retreats and seminars. The building comes with its own powder room and a storage area for staging meals. Coffee and tea service is provided. We have a collection of folding chairs and meeting tables.

 

The furnishings can be set up according to the group and its needs. The building is easily accessible for furniture rentals as well. The interior space is approximately 26' x 52'.

Host Your Seminar at the Old Point Reyes Schoolhouse
With lots of windows and french doors looking out to the gardens and landscape beyond, the interior is light and bright with high ceilings and excellent lighting. Shades on all openings provide the proper dimming for showing slides and films. We can make a slide projector, screen, and presentation tripods available. Full WIFI is provided. In temperate weather, participants may break from inside to wander the gardens or sit around a fire pit on the patio.

 

Host Your Seminar at the Old Point Reyes Schoolhouse



A five minute walk down the hill from the compound brings guests to the cow town of Point Reyes Station with cafes, book stores, Toby's Feed Barn and the Tomales Bay Food Company. Local caterers are equipped to bring in lunch or dinner for group members.
